WordPress Site "Error" on Load and Login Redirect issues

  • Hello everyone, I really hope you can help me with this.
    I have a wordpress site for quite a long time now (dimtastic.com/blog) with lots of security plugins and I’ve done my best to protect it and something is going tragically wrong again.
    I was going to login in yesterday and I was logging in successfully, but it was redirecting me to the home page. I noticed the there was a redirect link in the URL and I tried countless times to remove it but to no avail. So, I let it go thinking that it was a bug that is going to be fixed. Then today, I tried again and after many more tries to get in the system it all just gave up on me and every time I load the site a get a tragic “error” (just that in text). I am wondering if I got hacked. Any replies are greatly appreciated since I have lots of posts in that website.

    UPDATE: I have fixed the issue with the error on load.

    Okay a small update, I figured I have been locked out of the site, but how? I was entering the right password… Nevertheless the login redirect issue will still be present even after I get back on the site. Any tips on that?

    Is it just your back-end your having the issue? I went to the site and it loads fine for me and your posts.

    I believe I may have found the issue, might be a conflicting plugin. The plugin is Better WP Security and it might be very unstable after the most recent update. I’m going to delete it from my FTP right now and update you very shortly.

    Hello once again, I believe I have found a solution! The newest update on the plugin Better WP Security is very unstable and that is what caused the problem this whole time. It logs in fine now, and I’m very fortunate that I didn’t get hacked (I know what it’s like). I might be trying to dig in more to see if I can fix the issue with the plugin but for now, my site is “healed” thanks to you! Thank you very much, the link was very helpful as well. ??
