    Hello WordPress Guru’s!

I have recently had my website completed and am noticing it is taking quite some time to load 20 seconds or more with a good internet speed.

    The website is; https://www.jdmaccessories.com.au
    Theme; Unite

Website is being hosted with aussiehq here in Sydney Australia. I have had previous website hosted on the same server with wordpress installed and did not encounter this slow load times.

Would there be anything at all that can be suggested to look at the load speeds/content. I have tried to keep the home screen as clean as possible but am leaning towards thinking the slider used on home screen could be causing some ossues as images are quite large.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Regards

    Marcus

Out of the 20 second total load time, your time to first byte was 10 seconds: https://www.webpagetest.org/result/150421_ZE_1605/ (and on a second view it was 12 seconds)

This is the time it takes the server itself to basically respond with “Oh hi there, I’m a server.”

I’d recommend contacting your hosting provider about this, because it definitely should not take your server that long to simply acknowledge that it has a visitor.
