WordPress shows up all weird!

  • So, I am giving WordPress another try after giving up on it a few months back. I finally installed it but the CSS is totally off. I downloaded everything correctly and haven’t messed with anything but the config. I even installed a new theme to see if that was the problem, but it looks the same. I’m SO frustrated! Any one have any ideas on what could be the problem and how to solve it? Thanks!

  • Would you consider sharing a link to the problem blog? Sure would make it easier to offer suggestions for volunteers.

    If you didn’t alter the theme’s css, then the problems with it are the designer’s fault.

    For example, this:

    body {
	background: #E6E0D2; url(images/bg.jpg) repeat;
	font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
	font-size: 12px;
	}

    Should be:

    body {
	background: #E6E0D2 url(images/bg.jpg);
	font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
	font-size: 12px;
	}
