WordPress shows 404 for pages, not for posts

Your pages ( e.g., “Contact”, “Varia”…) open fine for me.

If you the pages you visited ends with .php then it isn’t wordpress but static php. Only when the url ends with a slash it’s WordPress. Take a look at https://www.woefkesranch.be/sitemap_index.xml for a overview.
What else could i try?

found the solution:
it was a plugin named Add Hierarchy (parent) to post wich breaks my pages. and when i disable it i must also resave permalinks, else it shows the homepage.

a word around this plugin is to create a custom post type that is hierarchical and change post type of the posts who need to be hierarchiecal.
