• Hey Folks,

My version of W-P is having some issues (again). I don’t really know how to explain it briefly, but I’ll try.

Recently, I started getting email notifications of comments etc that always showed a given username in the email .. even when the posted comments would show up on the site under the correct name.

Let’s say someone named a-b-c posts a comment. I get an email showing person x-y-z from wordpress (at) mydomain.com .. instead of what it used to be, as person named WordPress from email account wordpress (at) my domain.com

Now, a bigger, and I’m sure related issue is that a registered user just visited my site, and instead of being logged in under his own name, the page showed him as logged in under my name .. I’m the admin, he’s just a person who posts on the site sometimes. The site showed him, on his computer, as being logged in as me, but he couldn’t access a dashboard, and he couldn’t post.

My guess is this has something to do with W3T Cache .. but I really don’t know.

Any help would be appreciated. I’ve contacted my web host, but I doubt they’ll do anything much beyond tell me to post here.

    the site is https://www.skolaiimages.com/journal

    Thanks in advance.

    Cheers

    Carl
