• Hi,

I have set up WordPress, added a theme, and then customized it a little bit.

However, there is one problem I’m having. WordPress chooses the first image in the body, and makes it the featured image, instead of featuring the featured image.

I’m sorry, if this has been asked before. I couldn’t find an answer for this anywhere.

    Thanks in advance.

  • this would be a ‘feature’ of your theme.

    link to your site?

name and download link of your theme?

    What Theme are you using?

    Hi,

thanks for your reply. I do believe this is a ‘feature’ of the theme. However, I don’t really like it.

I haven’t actually finished my site, the site is currently running on localhost.

And this is the theme: https://wordpressthemesbase.com/view/1013.html

I have spent over 5 hours modifying it so, it doesn’t look like anything this anymore.

The site where you got your Theme is one I will not visit, as I consider it to be a spammy and/or malicious Theme site.

I would recommend starting from a cleaner, better-quality Theme, such as from the Official Theme Repository.

Hmm, I kinda agree with you. It’s not the best site.

However, I have some knowledge of CSS and HTML, so I can modify the themes. I didn’t want to start from scratch, but I used this as a base.

    Thanks for your help though.
