WordPRess serving activitypub JSON to web browsers

    I’m facing a bug that crops up sometimes – usually after a post gains traction on Mastodon. What happens is people browse to the post but see JSON instead of HTML.

    I’m not sure if it is this plugin or my hosts caching system or a combination of the two or something else entirely.

    Any thoughts on where to look (in code, WordPress, system, etc.) for answers beyond the obviouse?

    Update: It looks like this is a content negotiation vs cache problem. I have requested changes from my host and in the meantime have added .htaccess directives that I hope will set the cache time for JSON content to 0.

    Yes, if you see this issue, it is always a caching thing! Any updates from your hoster?
