• Hello,

Yesterday I migrated my word-press blog to a new web host. Everything seems to go fine how-ever today I’m having some problems. When I view my website it doesn’t display any new posts. For instance, today I’ve posted about 10 new posts how-ever on the front page of my site it only shows posts up to when the database was backed-up.

I know the DNS has changed over because I created some new posts on the old server. These posts wouldn’t be visible once the DNS changed over to the new server.

In anycase, if I log into the back end of the website then view my domain the posts become visible. I think it’s an issue with permissions or something? What could cause this problem. I know some chmoded files changed permission when doing the transfer.

Let me know what you think.

You may need to repair the database.

Access your WordPress database via phpMyAdmin (most hosting providers offer this in their control panel), check all of the tables, and choose “Repair tables” from the pull-down menu.
