    Hello good time
What should I do to increase the security of the site?
And which pages should I close access to robots?

You may want to implement some (if not all) of the recommended security measures and start backing up your site.

add the FREE version of Wordfence and sleep well – I was hacked nuerous times before I installed Wordfence – none since. Sweet and simple – install the defaults and you are good to go.

I actually have two apps installed – Securi. I like a little of that one, and a little of this one. I’m told not to install both but I’ve been running for over a year with no issues (or worries)

Telling me to put this command in robot.txt so that bots don’t access these pages. Can you tell me which pages we should not allow robots to access in order to increase security?

    Just disallow /wp-admin/ and wp-login.php

You don’t need to block bots from everything else.

Also, remember that robots.txt is more like guidelines, not rules. There is no gaurentee bots will actually respect them.

So, don’t go overboard, you might wind up blocking bots you want (like googlebot) while malicious bots simply don’t care.
