• I’m using Jetpack as the method of sharing posts automatically to Facebook.
I’m using WordPress SEO by Yoast to do the SEO.
It has sections you can fill in for a Facebook Title and Description.
When the post automatically feeds to Facebook I can see the Facebook title but not the description. The SEO plugin is collecting some of the information but not all of it.
I googled and found this fellowtuts.com/wordpress/jetpack-publicize-not-working/
I’ve tried all the suggestions on there and nothing works.
Any ideas much appreciated. It’s driving me nuts!

the site is https://www.cafelaleche.fr but the problem can only be seen on Facebook. This screenshot shows what is happening. The number is the minute I posted just so I can keep track. On the actual post I wrote the title as “title 54” the body of the post as “body 54”. On the social settings of Yoast I put “fb title 54” as the Facebook title and “fb body 54” as the Facebook description.

bump, if anyone can help that would be brilliant. Is it possible to install a previous version of WordPress or would that wipe loads of settings? It works fine on other sites I’ve set up and not updated.

I am finding something similiar in that when I post to Facebook even though I am using Jetpack and SEO Yoast (do these two plugins seem to interfere with one another?) I get a very bizarre looking description which is putting me off linking.

See https://www.facebook.com/TravelTheGlobe4Less for an example part way down the page. It looks rubbis
