WordPress SEO by Yoast Changes Site Title

  • I’ve seen this a ton in the SEO listings, and was some how able to overcome it with a second website, but in the newest version, because I have a static page set as my home page, in the SEO Titles setting under Home, it says “You can determine the title and description for the front page by editing the front page itself ?”

    I have the settings correct on the page, but for some reason on Google it is displaying differently. I want the keywords for my site to be first, and then the SiteName like this: (just and example)

    Detroit Brake Repair | Jonnys Brakes

    But on Google the listing is showing

    Jonnys Brakes: Detroit Brake Repair

    Any help?
