    Locked out of your wordpress install after this plugin update?

    Get into your back end via ftp.

    Rename the wordpress-seo to something else (ex; wordpress-seo-temp)

    Login to wordpress.

    Apply the yoast plugin update (it appears to have been already fixed).

    Noob here, as I’ve never used FTP before. Is it still possible to FTP in if I’m running my blog via a free WordPress account? I’m not aware that it’s hosted by a third-party.

    Some Thing

    @csurec: not possible, AFAIK

    So, is there anything to be done? I’d contact wordpress support directly, but apparently it doesn’t exist.
