    Hello,

I have built a webiste using elementor page builder. But I have an issue, for example: i have one page https://company.xyz/about-us/ which contains keyword “Barnier” that I added through elementor, now when I search using wordpress search box the word “Barnier” i don’t find it among the results.

Anyone ever came across this issue? If, yes how did you resolved it?

  • If you build the same page with the WordPress editor, does the search terms appear?
This should happen, since Elementor creates the same content as in WordPress

Thanks for your reply @benpines, yeah it works if I use wordpress editor instead of elementor. As far as I know, wordpress search queries the post_title and post_content but elementor keeps all the content on post_meta table using meta_key “_elementor_data”. May be am wrong but thats how I see it working.

We save a simpler version of the content in the post content, so all the content can be searched for

    Hi,

When I use any search tool on my word press site, it previews elementor pages rather than linking to the page in the results. I’ve also tried changing the theme and the same issue occurs.
Can you help me fix this?

    Thanks
