WordPress running slow

  • my wordpress dashboard is running really slow. sometimes it takes more than couple of minutes to load. I have noticed that “ADD NEW POST” page is more slow than any other parts. I do not have that much plugins installed, only few seo plugins.

    and from today, when i upload new images it doesnot show image size options(large, medium, thumbnail). it only says large size(0x0).

    i haven’t made any changes in the media settings, all settings are good.

    can anyone suggest what’s the problem?

    Try decativating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

    If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the Default theme (WordPress 2.9) or the Twenty Ten theme (WordPress 3.0) to rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can sometimes interfere with admin panel tasks).
