Difference between “feed=rss” and “feed=rss2”?

Hi: What’s the difference between https://jonathanrick.com/?feed=rss and https://jonathanrick.com/?feed=rss2?
If nothing, why does WordPress offer two of the exact same feeds? Thanks.
