• When I am logged into wp-admin, I cannot check all the links on a site without having to login over and over and over again? So frustrating… every page view I have to log in again.

And now if readers want to make a Comment, the wordpress login page is popping up there too.

I have cleared the cache and I have switched to Twenty Eleven theme with no change. Please help.

    Thank You!

  • Can you replicate the problem using the default Twenty Twelve theme with all plugins deactivated?

Thank you for the quick response. I will try that, but right now several people are commenting on the site, so I don’t want to discourage that by deactivating everything. I will try it later tonight.

Anything else I could try right now without disrupting the site?

Nope. There is no magic bullet in these situations. This is just the start of basic troubleshooting and is a process of elimination deliberately designed to locate the root cause as quickly as possible by first removing the most obvious and common culprits via a series of (often) temporary steps.

Well, I may have solved the problem. I tried to remember what I did differently in the last few days, and realized I had saved a few posts under the Private setting. I deleted them and saved them as Drafts, and there doesn’t seem to be a problem with the WordPress repetitive logins now.
