WordPress reference book recommendation

Hi all,
Total newbie here, I have been recommended WordPress to build a main site to accompany a forum that I started a few years ago which is already established with 1200 members.

My question is what book would you all recommend? I was about to purchase ‘The dummies guide to WordPress’ but I have seen a review on amazon that considers it out of date.
