  • You may need to do a couple things. You’ll need to log into your database and change all instances of https://www.dougkercher.com/mdc to https://www.cleanmyclothes.com.au you will also need to do the same in your wp-config.php file there will be one line that has your old address in it if you haven’t changed it.

    I tried all this and now https://www.cleanmyclothes.com.au comes up as the Homepage but when I want to access any of the other pages I get this

    Error establishing a database connection

    But I can access the dashboard and see the content of the pages in there –

    then when I go to visit site I get this again –

    Error establishing a database connection

    I am a bit lost here…

    I have checked the wp-config file and it looks ok to me…

    // ** MySQL settings – You can get this info from your web host ** //
    /** The name of the database for WordPress */
    define(‘DB_NAME’, ‘cleanmyc_wpmdc’);

    /** MySQL database username */
    define(‘DB_USER’, ‘cleanmyc_dougk’);

    /** MySQL database password */
    define(‘DB_PASSWORD’, ‘golf7777’);

    /** MySQL hostname */
    define(‘DB_HOST’, ‘localhost’);

    Cheers Doug
