WordPress reader

So I just switched from a pieceofparadis.wordpress.com to self-hosted apieceofparadis.com on Blue Host still running WordPress. I’m just checking because I’ve seen contradicting information. Are my posts still supposed to show up on WordPress reader, because they’re not. Which I don’t understand because I know I follow sites with custom domains on wordpress and they show up in the reader. Just asking because I didn’t know this before switching and a lot of my views come from the reader. Thanks.
