wordpress product image in the media library not visible. but works in the stage

Hi, when i tried to create a new product and upload product image it uploads the image but doesnt show in the media gallery. as in the thumbnail is empty but previous product images are visible.
then i created a stage site i tried the same process i could see all the images i uploaded in the live site are visible in the staging site and also the new images i upload to product is visible in the media library in the staging site but not in the live site.
a week ago i updated all the plugins and noticed my main banner image was visible to see it was a issue with elementor and another plugin. so restored the site and updated the site without updating elementor.

also i copied the image url address and entered in the browser the live site new uploaded image didnt show up. but on the staging site when i copied the image URL and pasted in the browser the image displayed. (the URL was copied right click from the media library image thumbnail – inspect on google chrome)
what could be the issue? im desperate for a solution
