    Hi,

    I am new to www.remarpro.com and learning how everything works. I updated my version from 4.7.5. to version 4.8 today. Also, updated 2 themes. I login fine and wanted to change my theme to see how my site would look on what I have done so far. I have done this before with no problems. I hope I did not lose all my work.

    I restarted my services and my computer and I still get this error message: Fatal error: Class ‘WP_Customize_Section’ not found in C:\wamp64\www\IT-Enterprises\IT-Enterprises\wp-content\themes\business-prime\inc\business-prime-customizer.php on line 641

    How can I fix this?

    Thank you for your help!

  • The problem is in your Business Prime theme. To confirm this, try a different theme. If that theme works, then the current theme maybe has a problem with 4.8?

    It might be but I am not sure. I can’t log back in to my dashboard to fix it. I don’t know what to do?

    @itenterprises

    Delete or rename the theme at:
    wp-content\themes\business-prime\

    That should then allow you to log in and change theme. After that your site should be working again.

    Mattyrob, good advice I’m sure, and the right advice… but I wonder if itenterprises is in the boat I’m in. That is, too new to this to know WHERE and HOW to do that renaming that you recommend. I’ve done it before but forget, myself.

    Maybe you could explain to him/her how to do it? I think it involves logging into your website hosts C-Panel, looking for where the files are stored, and manually renaming it there. But I’m not sure how to explain that to a newbie.

    I thank everyone for your kind help. I managed to figure it out on my own. I moved the business prime theme out of my themes folder on my C: drive and was able to long back into my dashboard. All my website work is still there!
