wordpress problem

  • I have wordpress with Thesis theme
    I keep getting messages such as

    Notice: An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with www.remarpro.com or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums. (WordPress could not establish a secure connection to www.remarpro.com. Please contact your server administrator.) in /home/www/costaalmeriabowling.com/wp-includes/update.php on line 295

    I have just installed a new theme and got the above message

    Open your /home/www/costaalmeriabowling.com/wp-includes/pluggable.php and
    /home/www/costaalmeriabowling.com/wp-includes/update.php:295 page
    write-
    <?php
    ob_start();
    ?>
    on the top of the page and check if you still get the error.

    @cmshelplivecom Please do not ever ever ever EVER suggest anyone modify a WordPress core file. Honestly, please do not do that again. It’s really bad advice.

    @johnhenworth It could be your theme customization so try these steps. If you have the Thesis theme backed up off of your server (that’s important):

    1. Using FTP or whatever file management tools your host has provided you with navigate to the wp-content/themes directory.
    2. Once there locate and delete the thesis directory. Just that one directory and nothing else.
    3. Try and re-login to your WordPress dashboard https://costaalmeriabowling.com/wp-admin/themes.php

    If it works then you’ll get a message about the theme missing (make sure you have a backup first) and you should be able to get in after that.

    Then you can re-try your steps and see where the error came from.

    Edit:     This is to address the “Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent” portion of your problem.

    I have three wordpress websites and I get warnings on all of them

    do you think it could be a plugin causing the problem

    what you have asked me to do is far to advanced for me ,Im sorry

    I use Thesis a lot, I think it could be a) a plugin conflict or b) your server configuration. Thesis is a pretty unique beast and thus it requires certain permissions. The only time I have ran into the above is when b) is the case.

    Have you submitted a support request to DIYThemes to check? and sent them your error log?
