    Hi,
I just added this plugin and it looks great. However, I think I’m confused in how it’s supposed to work with WP Post. I understand that it is a shortcode but when I add the shortcode it looks like WP overrides the feature image from Review. Also it duplicates title for WP posts and recencio review title. The plugin and the native post are fighting each other. There are double like icons and the related content is above the rating.

Also, is there a basic how to guide?

    Hello,
Normally you would treat reviews created by this plugin separate from the default WordPress posts. The feature of inserting reviews in regular post is kind of a supplement feature for compatibility with older WP themes. The reviews created by this plugin should show up alongside the regular posts on your homepage.

Can you provide me with a link to a live site to look at whats happening with the review box being below the post content.

I am currently working on a site which will provide documentation, it will be up soon.

Ok, That makes sense. Here is my website kayaburgin.com/bloh. However, I have a plugin that is pulling my old WP post into a grid format. I guess I need help for that plugin to recognize reviews.

If that plugin is specifically looking for the default WordPress post post-format it will see the custom rcno_review post-format. That plugin would need to take in consideration custom post types when it is searching for content, most do this.

I am looking at your website… is the example post whose screenshot you sent published?

No, I have put it back as a draft, but when was published I had to use the shortcode and place into the WP Post. So I don’t think the plugin is recognizing the post type

Looking at your website’s source I can see that the plugin is Elementor, so let me check to see if I can find a filter that could be used to add the rcno_review post type.

Check to see if Elementor plugin list a “Review” post type and that its enabled..

I am using a plugin called Content View and there is a Lite and Pro version. The Pro Version can pull custom post types. However I do have Elementor plugin called livemesh that allows me to display “review” post type. So I will use that thank you very much for your help!

I knew I was doing something wrong.

    OK, thats great.
Also, I think the JetPack also has an option for adding the share buttons to custom post types
