WordPress Post Edit Page not working correctly

Hi!

This has only just started and I’m unsure why:

In add new post, i usually insert an image first, then click to the far right of the image and click ‘enter’ to get a new line just below the image so i can insert a text paragraph. This no longer works for me. When i click on the far right of the image and click enter, my cursor moves up and takes me to the top if the image, i want to be below the image.

Also, when i press ‘enter’ to add new spaces between images and paragraphs, it shows up in my edit but when previewed, doesn’t show up at all and there are no spaces.

Very annoying and inconvenient. What usually takes me only a few minutes to insert my content into a new post, now takes me a good 10 minutes trying to add new lines and work things out via the ‘text’ screen, adding code. I want to be in the the ‘visual’ screen instead. This shouldn’t be happening.
