    Hello!

I have a site that rely’s heavily on your awesome plugin. I recently started hosting with Hostgator on their wordpress focused hosting. I noticed that the plugin kept getting disabled. After some research I found out that your plugin has been put on the bad list of wordpress plugins at HostGator here is more info here https://support.hostgator.com/articles/pre-sales-policies/optimized-wordpress-disallowed-plugins

I contacted customer service to get more info and see if it could possibly be whitelisted and they said they will not. I informed them that is constantly updated for security and performance and is used by over 200,000 wordpress users but they said it causes too many problems to allow.

The reason for my post is to inform you of this as I see you have ran into this issue with a larger provider before (ex. GoDaddy) and was able to work with them to get the issue resolved. I am hoping someone from Hostgator would work with you get this awesome plugin back on the good list.

    Hi there!

Back then it was the GoDaddy folks who got in touch with me actually. They got several requests from their clients to lift the ban on the plugin and because of that we were able to work it out. As a result, the Data Sampling feature was added and GoDaddy lifted the ban on the plugin.

I don’t mind helping out as long as Hostgator is willing to lend a hand as well. Please feel free to share this comment with them and the Hostgator community.
