WordPress & Plugin Update: Download failed. A valid URL was not provided.

  • I have a couple WP sites published on an internal network with proxy access open to *.www.remarpro.com.

    All of the plugin updates and WordPress updates are displayed and I’m notified about new ones, but once I try to update any plugin or WordPress itself I always get the Download failed. A valid URL was not provided. error.

    I’m not sure how to troubleshoot this further.
