Since the plugin WPForms updated a couple of days ago, my WordPress plugin update counter is stuck at 1.

A day after the WPForms company produced an update to fix this.

After uploaded the update, it was not fixed.

It is obviously WPForms making the problem, as deactivating it makes the update count of 1 go way. Reactivating WPForms makes the counter go back to 1.

I renamed the directory WPForms under the plugins directory to “WPForms original” and completed replaced it with a new copy downloaded from the WPForms website. Despite replacing all the files with new ones, the problem still exists.

Obviously WPForms have a bug in either the downloadable plugin WPForms or something on their server.

Please fix this. You don’t need to ask me to an admin login to my WordPress site, You should set up your own test site and test it with the latest WPForms plugin. Please do this. I don’t want to give away my admin username and password for a problem you should be able to fix on your own with a simple test site.

    Hey @marisa2023

Thank you for reaching out and sorry for the trouble caused by this issue.

We have identified the cause of the update notification issue and our team is working on a new update to address this issue. I will share an update once this is ready. Just to clarify, the most recent update was deployed to address a different conflict that arose after the 1.9.1.1 update:

    1.9.1.2
Fixed: There was a conflict with the WooCommerce Subscriptions plugin.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to get the fix out.

    Thank you!

Thank you for looking into this and fixing it, I was having the same issue.

    Hey @cflintnwo

Thank you for confirming that today’s fix addressed the issue.
@marisa2023 would you mind updating to version 1.9.1.3 if you have not done so already? This bug is now resolved.

    Have a good one! ??
