    Hi guys,

    Please for developers, to change the requires PHP version 5.6.20 with requires PHP version 5.6.4 , who is the last PHP available for WinXP.

    I hope this will be real, if not this is it.

    PS: Do not tells me to update to others Windows coz….. Win XP is my choise, and this, like a lots of others, we like to work… not with clones of WinXP!!

    Sorry, but that’s not going to happen. If you stick to “abandonware”, you have to deal with the consequences. In addition to WinXP, PHP 5.6 is no longer supported or maintained and the WP ecosystem is taking advantage of the improvements offered by PHP 7 (and soon, PHP 8).

    If you want to continue with XP as your desktop (and that’s the last version of Windows I thought was a keeper), you might try installing WP in a virtual machine that has PHP 7, etc (assuming you can find a VM that will run on XP). I switched to Linux as my desktop.

    I WILL USE, THE LATEST WP FOR WINDOWS XP , AND THIS IS IT!!!

    Please dont write in all Caps.

    If you want to use XP, you can use XP, but you are on your own with building software stack needed to run WordPress.

    WordPress has no direct requirements for Operating System.

    Requirements


    WordPress has requirements for software.
    If required versions are not provided by upstream/officially, you can find another builds or build software yourself. Everything is opensource.
