• My Permalink Structure is:

    /%category%/%postname%/

I’ve got several posts assigned to child categories.

When trying to view the child category archive page, I’m getting a 404 page.

I think WordPress is seeing the /parent-cat/child-cat/ url and assuming the child-cat is supposed to be a post within the parent-cat (so it’s 404ing because it can’t find the post!).

    Any Ideas?

I think I’ve worked it out – the YOAST plugin I’m using is breaking it. When I have this disabled, all works fine.

I have the tick box enabled for ‘remove category base’ – which i think broke it.

    Back to the drawing board!

Same error and same plugin causing issue on my website also. When I try to see posts under category, it redirects me to some particular post and few categories are showing a 404 page.

    My URL is – https://www.techsnapr.com/

    Please help…

[No bumping. If it’s that urgent, consider hiring someone.]
