WordPress Permalink Issue

We have 2 situations here.
We have this url structure on a website website.com/post-name, but while shifting to the new server, these urls changed to website.com/2022-1/post-name, and post-name automatically redirected to the new version.

As this was not an intentional change so we want to change it back to the original version, so we changed the permalink back to post-name, but now the old urls with /2022-1/post-name does not redirect automatically to post-name. Please advise.
