WordPress Password Reset email format error

  • My server has emailing functionality disabled as a measure to prevent the server to be used for sending out spam mails. So I need to install 3rd party SMTP plugin for individual website to send out emails. At the moment I find Sendinblue promising, except I discovered a little glitch with the format of emails sent out from WordPress itself.     Am I the only one facing this problem? Seems like I’m the first who reported this. Am eager to know if there is something else I needed to do to make this work. Please advise.

    Thanks for the reply. I have eventually switched to use another solution and got it to work.

    The only difference is the other plugin offers the option to use either text or HTML. In my case, selecting text solves the paragraph format issue. Hope this will give you a clue on where to start looking for cause.

    Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.

    If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.

    Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us asking you to repeatedly stop before escalating up to the plugins team.
