WordPress pages with titles

    I’m not even sure how to search for this as it brings up results related to something else.

    I have posts on my site, at the top of my browser it says:

    Sitename | Article name

    Now, on a page, it just has:

    Article name

    How do I enable both the site and article name like on posts? To elaborate, when I search, I get a lot of things related to the title tage.

  • Check your theme’s header file, or possibly in functions.php. Somewhere there’s a conditional is_page for the meta title tag being set to only show the page title.

    Conversely, you can use one of the “SEO” plugins that gives you more granular control over your meta title from the admin, without having to edit any theme files.
