WordPress Pages – There has been a critical error on this website

1. What version of WordPress do you use? WordPress 6.2.2
2. Do you have Gutenberg plugin installed and activate? if yes, which version? Yes, 1.8.6
3. Is there other plugin activated when you trying to activate Gutenverse?If there is, could you us what plugin? I also have Yoast SEO plugin activated. That’s it.
4. Which PHP version do you use? PHP 8.0

Could you copy the system status in Dashboard->Gutenverse->System Status?
Also, can you screenshot what the error looks like?
It will help us identify what happened from the type of error.

I tried to replicate your site and didn’t encounter any errors when accessing the Page editor. However, to further investigate the issue, could you please ask your site administrator to check the error log on the server? There might be some hints about what is going on with your site. Kindly provide me with the error logs for further analysis. Thank you.

I spoke with my web hosting provider, they helped trouble shoot. They said that the plugin isn’t compatible with the PHP version 8.0.29, so they down graded that to 7.4 and then everything is working fine. Here is a screen shot for the error log. Hopefully there will be a fix in the future for this, but I guess I will just run PHP version 7.4 until then.

Thank you for your report. We will look into this issue. For your information, I have tested the following PHP versions on my side: 8.0.24, 8.1.13, and 8.2.0, and everything seems to be working fine. Perhaps you could try using a different version of PHP 8.
