WordPress pages are all blank!! D:

  • I have a site here https://bit.ly/Hq3fEB that was totally working a second ago. Here is exactly what I did to cause it to show only white screen.

    Went to Appearance > Editor Clicked on Main Index Template (index.php)
    Cut all the code
    Pressed update (showed white screen)
    Pasted all the code I just cut (literally changed nothing to index.php)
    Pressed update

    That was all I did. I never changed any code or anything but now all I see is a white screen.

    Can you please help me get it back to being able to see the site? I am using Ovid for this sites theme.

    Also important to know that I can get into the admin panel no problem. I am using Ovid theme from themeforest https://bit.ly/HmRWko and can see the site fine on twentyeleven theme. Its just the site is showing blank on Ovid theme :\

  • Just replace the file that you have made changes with an original copy. You should log-in via FTP or your host’s admin panel to do this kind of job .
    Alternatively , you can re-upload the whole folder of your theme into your WordPress theme installation directory . Caution , replacing the whole theme folder will reset your theme’s settings (all configurations you probably have made on this theme will be lost ) .
    If that sounds to “Tech” , let us know , we will give more detailed instructions .

    I have almost the same problem, I can’t either see my website at all.

    Don’t know what the problem is, I have installed wordpress on my webhotel and it seems to be fine.

    Probably you are facing a totally different situation .
    Some feedback that will help us focus the problem are :
    1)What was the last configuration you made before this problem occurred ?
    2)Have you made a plugin installation before this problem occurred ?
    3)Do you have administration panel access ? (www.yourdomain.com/wp-admin )

    Probably I am.
    1) I just installed wordpress on my domain, I haven’t gotten in up running yet.
    2) Yes I made the plugin installation before.
    3) Yes I also have the admin panel access.

    But the problem is that it is totally blank, don’t know if I missed to set up something?

    I also tried the ‘First steps with wordpress’
