    Hey, folks, I have a general question. without installing plugins I am able to download media to my page. Does this mean a photo gallery comes with WP 3.61,etc? I can post photos and edit them. Again, is this a preinstalled photo gallery? Also, would I benefit from installing a photo gallery plugin? Thnx.

  • WordPress does include a basic gallery by default. As to whether you would benefit from installing a photo gallery plugin – that’s not something we can really answer for you.

    Esmi, thank you. I only need to post individual pics. As long as I can edit size and position I am happy. Just one more question, is this gallery different on 3.6.1 than on 3.6?

    The image handling and gallery in WordPress by default has not changed between 3.6 and 3.6.1
