WordPress Page with image and hotspots

  • I have generated an image with hotspots in Inspiration 9. I export it as an .html file in which the links still work. I copy the .html into a WordPress page and modify the image source to match the WordPress media library location of the image. I verify that no dimensioning or positions elements have changed.

    All of the above is a wast of time because when I save the WordPress page it removes all the mapping entries … completely, kaput.

    How do I import visual maps a.k.a. images with hotspots into WordPress – pages or blog entries?
