    Hi Micheal

    Hope you can help

    I’ve made a wordpress page:
    mywebsite.com/page

on that page, I want it to display another webpage from another domain
    otherwebsite.com/otherpage

Both pages have been tested on your free page check and they are all green OK

so on mywebsite.com/page, I’ve put in the following shortcode in editor under HTML (made sure code copied from text file):
    [advanced_iframe securitykey=”123abc” src=”https://otherwebsite.com/otherpage/”%5D

Now when I go to the URL: mywebsite.com/page
    I get a 404 error

    what am I doing wrong?

    Thank you for your help

Can you see in the html of the page which url is used for the iframe?
A common problem is that when the src is copied from the administration some em tags are copied to which causes such problem.

Have you already switch the editor from visual to text?

    Hi Michael

    Sorry for the delayed reply.

I’ve refreshed the permalinks settings and no longer get 404 error. However mywebsite.com/page only shows a tiny window of otherwebsite.com/otherpage

I was expecting that when I go to:
    mywebsite.com/page

the visitor would see the WHOLE page of
    otherwebsite.com/otherpage

(with no trace of mywebsite.com’s banner sidebar, footer etc)

    Does your plugin do this?
or can people only see a window into the other page

    Thanks

You can configure the height and the width.

If you want to show only a part of a window that is not on your domain you need the pro version. A demo https://www.tinywebgallery.com/blog/advanced-iframe/advanced-iframe-pro-demo (The demo is currently in progress because I’m adding the features of the new version right now)

    Best, Michael
