WordPress Page & Post URL Question

  • Hello,

    I am trying to create a web site with several groups of web pages. I would like to use WordPress pages, not posts for these pages. How do I assign the urls for the pages in group 1 as:

    root-domain/group1/web-page-01
    root-domain/group1/web-page-02

    And have group 2 as:

    root-domain/group2/web-page-01
    root-domain/group2/web-page-02

    If I were to use WordPress posts to create the above urls, how do I do that?

    I use the Custom Structure under Permalink. It seems like I can only create web pages or web posts with urls like /root-domain/web-page-01
    or root-domain/web-post-01. No sub-directory structure seems to be available.
