    Good Day,

For the past week or so, www.remarpro.com has been very slow.

Specifically, when I either visit a forum, create a forum topic, or similar navigation function, the website takes about 20-30 seconds to respond (i.e., I get a blank screen) or I need to refresh my browser to get the visited page to display.

This is occurring with all browsers that I’m using (yes, all extensions, etc. disabled) and not with any other common websites I visit, so this definitely appears to be a www.remarpro.com issue.

Any ideas on what could be causing this? WordPress’ Status Blog is not reporting anything to this effect.

    Thank you!

  • I can’t reproduce that. The pages load quickly as usual without any changes in the last few days.

Are you possibly connected via VPN?

    Hi @threadi,

    Thanks for that.

Yes, I’m using a VPN (Cloudflare Warp), disabled it, and it appears www.remarpro.com is a bit faster, but not by much. So, I’m going to monitor things a bit more and keep you posted.

Note: The puzzling thing is that all other websites I visit (with VPN enabled) are loading fine, except www.remarpro.com.

    Again, thank you.

If necessary, contact Cloudflare support to clarify this. There may just be a routing error.

Good idea. Yes, will do when I confirm Cloudflare Warp is the root cause of this issue.

Also, it would be helpful if you can install Cloudflare Warp on your PC to see if you can replicate this issue.

    Thank you!

Unfortunately I can’t. I don’t know and don’t want to use the software. And I’m very careful about what I install.

If you are looking for experience with it, look for a community that also uses the software.

Another tip: is the connection via your identical internet connection (without VPN) with a mobile device (phone connected via WLAN) better than on the PC? That would be another clue.

    Update:

www.remarpro.com is now running smoothly at my end.

Root cause was found to be associated with updates made to www.remarpro.com which were completed 1-2 days ago.

For example, the WP admin login panel now requires we acknowledge we’re not associated with WP Engine before we can log in.

Certain users affected more than others depending on their geographic location and other factors.

    Cheers!
