  • When a topic is started, the WP version of the user is requested.

    A small improvement would be to have this automatically defaulted to the known version of the users.
    The “known version” could be stored in the users profile.

    In the case where the user has updated their WP system, then started a topic, but not updated the information in their profile; The user can over-ride the previous default in the topic submission form, and the form will then prompt the user if they want to update their profile at the same time (while they remember).

    This data is probably best not forced, because the topic may be started and be referring back to a previous state of the users system (whether up/down grade).

    If ever the PHP versions get reported, then a similar system could be used for that too.
