• Hello!

I tried posting this on wordpress.com forums because i felt it to be more appropriate, however whenever I try to post something, it brings me to a wordpress sign in for a website I don’t have any wordpress sign ins for, and wasn’t letting me post so here I am!

I’ve struggled with this issue accross using multiple domains. I’ve disabled all plugins, uninstalled and reinstalled, tried different themes, opening my browser settings to make sure JavaScript is enabled, and I can’t solve the problem: whenever I try to edit anything at all in default wordpress, it gives me a screen that looks like the one I attached with the link (*it’s my first time ‘linking’ to a picture on a forum, so if it doesn’t work, I’d really appreciate a reliable and free way to create working links for images I need to reference).

This is insanely frustrating and makes it incomprehensible to use wordpress. The only factor that is in common between this happening on two separate domains is the fact that I use siteground as a hosting provider, but I know siteground is highly recommended across the community as one of the best hosting services, so I take it they aren’t the problem, but this issue is happening across MULTIPLE computers, MULTIPLE domains and plug in setups, MULTIPLE different themes, and MULTIPLE different browser types; this is getting ridiculous.

Can someone please help me solve this problem?! I really want to get working on this website for a client. Thanks!!

  • Hi there — from the link you provided, it looks like the CSS and JS are not loading properly. Are there errors in the Developer Tools console (Press Command+Option+J (Mac) or Control+Shift+J (Windows, Linux, Chrome OS) to access Chrome console)?

If there are no errors, SiteGround caching might prevent rendering the most up-to-date styles and scripts. Additional information on SiteUnderground caching is available here
