@jonathan, I moved my blog to Dreamhost because I got an insanely cheat deal, with the discount code, I ended up paying about $21 for a year’s worth of hosting.
It doesn’t have a cPanel interface, but the menu is easy enough to figure out. There’s a nice one-click install of WordPress and a couple of other programs. And that’s about as fancy as it gets.
I haven’t gotten a nastygram from them about usage, but then my blog gets little traffic. What I don’t care for is the fact that they have something called Fopen disabled in some way so that two of my favorite plugins, RumMovie, and WP Amazon, don’t work. Other than that, they’re fine, and you can’t beat that price with the discount.
My tech support questions have been answered promptly and courteously and there’s been minimum downtime that I’ve experienced personally. FWIW.
