• I’m using the latest version of WordPress on my site running a custom theme, but I find that the time is off by ten minutes. Right now, for example, it is 11:04 AM EST as I write this sentence — but according to WP, the UTC time is “2014-09-23 15:14:30” and Local Time, set to New York, is “2014-09-23 11:14:30”, a full ten minutes ahead. It’s making it so that if I schedule a post it goes up earlier than it is supposed to, and given that I work on a site that on occasion will deal with embargoed information, this seems problematic if it keeps up.

Any idea on where the issue is coming from and/or how to fix this?

    Wrong clock from your server?

Not sure how to check that exactly — we’re running through AWS on an EC2 instance. Looking through it now I don’t see anything in there related to the server clock.

Edit: nvm, I’ve got it — thanks
