• PLEASE READ NOTE FIRST:
1.) Works fine with Firefox but can’t switch to firefox in full because my life is currently on Chrome (Bookmark Arrangements, Settings, Extensions, Google Sync).

2.) I’ve disabled AdBlockers and Cookies are fully allowed from my WordPress site URL.

    Now on to the Problem:
For some reason, I just fired up Chrome and open my WordPress admin and suddenly, WordPress no longer likes to open up “add media”, it doesn’t show the toolbars on the Visual Editor, and it doesn’t allow me to Switch tabs to do HTML text editing.

Any advice on what to disable or enable in Chrome to make WordPress work?

  • Have you tried clearing your cache and cookies in Chrome?

Have you tried clearing any caching on your site?

Have you tried deactivating your plugins and switching to a default theme to see if that makes a difference?

*Thumbs up* I haven’t tried that and when I did, it fixed the problem. I’ll take note of this fix for the next time it happens.

I meant the Browsing Cache clearing.*

Cool – that was easy :)! Always a good one to start with.
