WordPress not working locally after migrating from server

I am unable to go into wp-admin or login to the WordPress dashboard.

Can you please provide a bit more info on what you mean by “I am unable to go into wp-admin or login to the WordPress dashboard”? Are you unable to access the admin URL? Are you getting a username/password error? Are you getting a cookie error? What exactly do you see when you attempt to log in?

In addition to that, I am also not getting a proper site, everything is broken and links are not proper.

My hunch is that the migration might not have been 100% successful, and some resources may still be pointing to the production or even wrong URLs. Kindly check your browser’s developer console to see if you’ll find any errors.

Here I have meant that I don’t get any message, the only thing I receive when I hit localhost/wordpress/wp-admin on my browser:

This page isn’t workinglocalhost redirected you too many times.
Try clearing your cookies.
ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS

various CSS, theme related errors

Great, it was an issue with my directory looks like. I changed the directory in MAMP webserver settings with the main directory /WordPress rather than subdirectory /WordPress/wordpress.. Hope this makes sense. At last, it got resolved and everything is working fine.. Thanks for your help!!
