WordPress not showing new release updates

    Does Dashboard:Tools > Health Check
    show any notes about update check is disabled?

    THe health check says it is unable to check for updates and to update manually. It says the last time updates were checked was today and that it is currently up to date. But it is still on 5.4 and not 5.7
