WordPress not sending emails

  • I recently got a business email address through GoDaddy with my domain (an Outlook.com email). I figured I should change my admin email on WordPress from my old Gmail address but when I went to do so I never received a confirmation email to my new email.

    The contact form I have also isn’t sending emails to the new address. I installed an Email Log plugin to see if the contact form emails were even being sent and sure enough they were, I’m just not receiving them.

    However, the confirmation email wasn’t even in that log. I tried installing an STMP plugin as well and again, no email. My old Gmail account worked fine but my new email doesn’t at all. Any ideas? I feel there’s probably a simple fix I’m missing.

  • A long time ago I set a godaddy email up and if I remember I had to set up the POP and STMP in both wordpress and godaddy.
