WordPress not Creating Tables

Hi — When I get to the second step of installing WordPress, it says it is about to create the database tables and I get a ton of different errors saying the tables were made. It connects to the database fine. I am also getting warnings like this: Warning: preg_match() expects parameter 2 to be string, array given in /home2/keith/public_html/thesmo/wp-admin/upgrade-functions.php on line 326

Please Help!
