WordPress navigation button inactive

  • The whole of the burger menu button (the three horizontal lines) is coming up as a “#” link, and the dropdown list doesn’t appear.

    I’ve looked in the WP admin, the theme settings, the CSS and the php files (although I’d be very wary about changing any of these) and just can’t see how to make it active.

    Just to confirm, it’s not a link in the menu that’s inactive or a parent link that needs to be activated, or a sub menu that’s not showing.

    Can anyone help?
