wordpress, mysql issue with windows 2003 server

  • We use xmlrpc metaweblog api to publish data into wordpress, in windows 2003 server, it runs fine for a while, the wordpress xmlrpc will start to fail after 1600-3800 article publishes. However, the same application runs well for weeks under Suse Linux with thousands of inserts.

    The error is xmlrpc response error and wordpress stops inserting into mysql database. In some cases, it even leaves mysql into a unstable state. We tried both myisam and innodb format for mysql, none solves the problem.

    Version info
    windows 2003 or windows 2000 server
    wordpress 2.0.5
    apachefriend current version (php 5, mysql 5, appache 2.x)

    one more thing, we don’t have the issue with windows xp. However, we cannot run windows xp in production. The issue only happens in windows 2003 and 2000 servers.
